June 6, 2017 — DekaTron announced today that it has been awarded a Fix Firm Price contract for the Southern Partnership Station 2017/ Expeditionary Fast Transport (SPS-EPF17). DekaTron will be providing expeditionary Logistics Support for US Navy Forces and their designated personnel operating ashore in Honduras during SPS-EPF 17. SPS-EPF 17 is a U.S. Navy deployment focused on subject matter expert exchanges and building partner capacity with partner nation militaries and security forces in Central and South America. This procurement represents the largest contract of its type for DekaTron Corporation to date in Central America supporting the U. S. Navy’s 4th Fleet.
This procurement is for the Expeditionary Logistics and Life Support Services for SPS-EPF 17 personnel, operating ashore the ports in Puerto Castillo, Honduras. This contract is part of a larger U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) directed mission.
Navy awarded the contract to DekaTron through a competitive procurement process in which all proposals were evaluated on the basis of technical merits, past performance and price in order to determine the best value to meet the government’s requirement. The Navy designated this contract as a full and open.
